You may or may not know but the 2018 - 2019 school year's lot of sports just ended yesterday - kind of. Tuesday evening was the last evening in which the latest group of graduate's would represent their various high schools. Over the last month and half, other athlete's had done so in Softball, Volleyball & Football but the beginning of this week brought about the final all star showcase of the year - Basketball.
In the event that you missed them, there are galleries from many of the exhibitions available one click away. But I'm actually not here to talk about those events. Right now I want to look toward the future.
I've been doing this blog for 3.5 years, which is crazy to think about, and I've had the privilege to be present for some amazing performances. For all the game's I've already seen, I can still attend & immensely enjoy the action on the playing surface in front of me. I've got no intention of slowing down, just the opposite in fact but I'm not a one dimensional caricature, there are many other thing's that I care about & enjoy. I'd say it's likely there are some that I don't even know about yet, but I would like that to change.
So as my abbreviated Summer has started today I would like to ask for your help. With an eye toward's all season's but ideally keeping to the nearby Fargo area, what are some things should be taken in? Whether it be a park or a museum or a restaurant or a tailgate spot or a sports team/environment or really anything in the area, just say the word! The one exception I would make is that if you make it all about alcohol, yeah that's not going to happen because I'm not going to become even a high functioning alcoholic, I've seen too many of them to fall into that.
Aside from that though, put in the comments and it will be added to the bucket list! Crowd sourcing is a big thing these day's and while my ultimate goal with this is to get it to a point of being able to live off covering sports, I just want your input!
So thanks for stopping by! I'm excited to read what you all suggest!! That's all for now though, so until the next time, enjoy your weekend!
