As with the fifth round, Minnesota started the sixth with a trade for the future. They flipped 201 & 219 to Baltimore for 225 & a fifth-rounder next year. B
Two picks later the Purple added college Tackle Blake Brandel from Oregon State. He may be the first signal that they're looking to lock up guys that they have big opinions of but would normally be undrafted free agent signings. He shows some signs of athleticism to do what the zone-blocking scheme requires but not surprisingly will need more seasoning than this year will provide in order to contribute to the team.
With their second selection in the round they went with along-awaited position. Hand may end up being converted to Safety but Josh Metellus has already been playing that for the Wolverines which seems like an advantage.
His play reminds me of Anthony Harris. It will take a lot for him to reach that level of accomplishment but just for the possibility that they unearthed another gem I'm giving the pick a B.
