I made the point about Jonah Williams during mock draft season but it applies to every Bama player. Until they have an NFL hit rate that is at least semi-requisite of the success that Alabama has on the CF level I wouldn't touch many of their players - if any.
Well, the Vikes decided that they couldn't pass on the latest TE to come out Tuscaloosa. As a guy that could develop behind Rudolph, I don't hate the selection. But I don't like it either. It's a pick made on potential but I think there are guys that produced much more on the college level and have at least the same amount of potential while being available in later rounds.
If he goes on to be a multi time pro bowl and widely considered amongst the best TE's in the NFL, I'll eat my words. Until then, and from this moment til that, I'm calling it that he will be a bust.
