For the year's that this site has been in existence I've kept it about Fargo area sports as close to 100% of the time as I could. Did I mix other things some times and make parallel's that extend beyond the field, court & track? Absolutely, but only when the comparisons and inclusions made sense to me. Until now that is.

I'm quite certain that talking Fantasy Football will still be relevant to many of you but I admit that it has little to do with the prime directive.

I've talked Fantasy ball for almost half my life but being able to talk about something does not as naturally translate to the keyboard as you may think. Now that the season is under way, I've decided to lock in on the four key aspects of running a Fantasy team. There's a bit of tongue in cheek with the four categories but each are my personal recommendations for this week. All player considerations will be based on ownership and usage in Myfantasyleague leagues

Should I start AJ Green in his first game back against Baltimore or stick with Allen Robinson against Detroit this week at flex?

With the myriad of problems that Cincy has right now, I don't think any of their layers can be started. Green may be able to pad his numbers with a touchdown a couple times going forward but I don't think this is the week to bank on that.

Just got offered Mixon for Metcalf. I own Mixon, other RBs are Zeke, Aaron Jones, J Samuels. Who would you take in a PPR?

Metcalf & it's not close. That's a good crew!

Who would win the trade: Thielen & Ekeler for Josh Jacobs

Thielen may be back for the playoff push and Ekeler is still a viable option but Jacobs may be an upgrade for your roster and would allow you to pick up another player to boot so that would probably be the direction I would go.

What should I do with LeSean McCoy?

He likely won't ever be a top point producer from the running back group but I recommend holding onto him until at least Mahomes comes back. See what his role is once their offense is humming at full strength & isn't going up against a top run defense. He can still do double-digit damage, shockingly!

It goes against my standard thus far but with so few options to choose from, the one potentially good option had to be the choice. With availability in more than 35% of leagues, Josh Gordon is a must-add in any league that he is available in.

It's a worst-case scenario for anyone that hung onto him for so long but DeSean Jackson is an easy drop.

Cincinnati, meet Hollywood. Even in the run-heavy offense that Baltimore is rightly going with, Marquise Brown has a great chance of going off this week.

Nick Chubb has earned the right to not get shelved with Kareem Hunt coming back but against the Bills defense in a still dysfunctional offense, I recommend looking elsewhere before starting the former Bulldog.

It's a rehash of a point made before but needs to be made again - don't underestimate the value of Kickers and Defense to winning each week. For those who had Harrison Butker or the Dallas D this week, that's a massive advantage. Sure it can be difficult to identify when those sorts of breakouts will happen but it's worth your time to look closely at the options every week and who knows maybe you'll manage to strike the hidden gold!

But that's all for now.

Until next Tuesday, happy Fantasy hunting!
