Sunday Roundup

The Football team had a strangely early off week, which didn't feature any injury news so there isn't much to say about them but the same can't be said for the rest of the fall athletes.

The gals of the Volleyball court continued to make quick work of their opponents on the way to a weekend sweep at the Florida Atlantic University Invitational. That closes out their non-conference schedule. They square off in the rectangle against both SoDak schools next weekend but are off until then.

The Soccer squad accounted for another loss last Sunday but had the rest of this week off.

The Golf team set school records on their way to a team title out on in Montana

No Bradford, a bad loss. it's only week two so no need to light things on fire but the best reaction to the loss can be seen here.

The Twins have continued to toy with the emotions of their fanbase as they remain in contention for the second wild card playoff spot. One game they'll put up 15+, the next they'll post 1 run. Maybe you want to write that off as a part of the game but I would rather have a consistent 5 runs with the occasional explosion and the elimination of the duds. They're still in control of their own post season participation but my gut feeling is that they'll come up just short when it's most on the line...

With days remaining until their work begins (crazy right?!) team howl continues to fill out it's roster with the return of a familiar face. Shabazz Muhammed reportedly had interest from the Lakers but opted to stay with the only team he's known. As a scorer off the bench I was pulling for them to ink him but it's past time that the same needs to be true of Andrew Wiggins. So they're coming together and it'll be full steam ahead very shortly but things aren't without their negativity right now.
