The 🏈 players are of most interest to the highest amount of people but NDSU has done a great job finding & helping develop pros in several other sports. An all-time high of 16 former Bison football players are currently on NFL rosters – 12 on active rosters and four on practice squads. That total is believed to be the most ever for an FCS school in the Division I-AA / FCS era (since 1978). Here are their highlights:

- Trey Lance -

Out for remainder of 2022 season following surgery on a broken ankle.

- Ben Ellefson -

Placed on injured reserve with a groin injury … Set to miss a minimum of four weeks.

- Cordell Volson -

Started at left guard, playing all 63 offensive snaps for the Bengals in a 19-17 loss to the Ravens … Second penalty-free game of the season.

- Chris Board -

Logged 17 snaps on special teams with one punt downed during the Lions' 29-0 loss to the Patriots.

- Derrek Tuszka -

Played 23 snaps – 10 on defense and 13 on special teams – in the Chargers' 30-28 win over Cleveland.

- Carson Wentz -

Threw for a season-high 359 yards to go with 2 TD passes while the Commanders were beat by the Titans, 21-17.

- Joe Haeg -

Inactive for the Browns' 30-28 defeat against the Chargers.

- Jabril Cox -

Played 21 snaps on special teams in the Cowboys' 22-10 win over the Rams.

- Billy Turner -

Active for the first time this season, but did not play in the Broncos' 12-9 loss to the Colts.

- Christian Watson -

Involved in all aspects with 18 offensive snaps and 4 special teams snaps as the Packers lost to the Giants, 27-22 … Returned two kickoffs for a total of 35 yards while making one catch and getting one carry before leaving with a hamstring injury.

- Easton Stick -

Inactive 3rd quarterback for San Diego

- Dillon Radunz -

Started for the first time this season, playing all 64 snaps on offense for Tennessee's 21-17 victory over Washington. Did not allow a sack.

- Darrius Shepherd -

Released from Denver's practice squad October 11th

- Brayden Thomas -

Member of Los Angeles's practice squad

- Josh Babicz -

Member of Carolina's practice squad

- Zach Johnson -

Member of Baltimore's practice squad

- Bruce Anderson -
